Anyone on Twitter might have noticed your Instagram photos don’t look quite right.

That’s because Instagram and Twitter aren’t getting along so well.

Users could previously view photos posted with Instagram directly on their Twitter feeds. That ended Wednesday, when Instagram disabled the ability.

Basically, it boils down to territory. Instagram wants users to visit its site to view the full picture. Soon, even the cropped version users see now will disappear.

Users who still want to post filtered pictures directly to their Twitter feeds do have an option. It’s more time consuming, but possible.

Just check out your Instagram settings. You’ll find them under the widget in the top right corner of your profile. Scroll to the bottom and turn on the ability to save filtered photos right to your phone.
Instagram hipsters can then tweet pictures out like usual, filter and all.
