A new email scam is targeting facebook users. The emails claim you have been tagged in a Facebook photo but then download malware to your computer.

Mashable.com reports that Sophos’s NakedSecurity blog outlined the threat on Wednesday after intercepting the malware email campaign.

According to Mashable, the blog notes that the spam email address misspells “Facebook” as “Faceboook.” The link takes the user to a malicious iFrame script, and exposes the user’s computer to malware.

To be sure you are responding to a real Facebook email; check the spelling of ‘Facebook’. Also hover your mouse over a link to see where it is sending you.
