SPOKANE CO., Wash. – Spokane County passed the 300,000 mark for registered voters this week.
“It’s typical that we see an uptick in voter registrations during a presidential election, however I wasn’t expecting the County to get to this number until much closer to the election,” said Spokane County Auditor, Vicky Dalton. “With this influx in registrations, we are preparing for an intense few weeks once ballots start rolling in.”
If you live in Spokane County and are planning to take part in the General Election, online or mail-in registration must be completed by Monday, October 10.
The Spokane County Elections Office will accept mail-in registrations, as long as the post-mark is on or before October 11.
First-time Washington voters may also register in person at the Spokane County Elections Office by October 31.
