Crews battle small West Plains fire

SPOKANE -- Spokane fire crews are battling a small brush fire in the northwest part of town.
The fire is only burning on an acre and is not viewed as a serious threat to structures.
Officials say the fire started near the intersection of Thorpe and Assembly on the West Plains.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
