LINCOLN COUNTY, WA--With more than 600 firefighters in the Davenport area fighting the Swanson Lake wildfire, business owners are seeing a boost in revenue.
Residents say they’re noticing that the town is now buzzing with crews, and people who've come to the Lincoln County fair.
We spoke with a man who owns a Subway, a pharmacy and a soda fountain who says the fire fighters are working up an appetite, then flooding his stores.
In just the last few days he estimates he's seen a twenty percent increase in business, especially when it comes to the ice cream.
Fire officials say they expect the large number of firefighters to stay in the area at least through the weekend.
