Credit 2 Kids December winner

SPOKANE, Wash. -- KREM 2's Laura Papetti visited Deer Park for this month's Credit 2 Kids.

More than 80 kids signed up for a blood drive organized by senior Malia Faye.

She is president of the Key Club and a source of pride for the school and community.

Faye's brother had a life-saving bone marrow transplant when she was just two-years-old. That transplant was found at a high school blood drive, like the one Faye helped organize Thursday.

When she's done with school, she plans to do mission work in Costa Rica at an orphanage.
