STEVENS COUNTY-- A new chair lift was scheduled to open up more of 49 Degrees North for the 2012, 2013 winter.

The lift was set to give skiers and snowboarders more access to the mountain

On October 25th 49 Degrees North already had 8 inches of snow at the top.

49's Angel Peak Chair takes riders to the top. The seats will soon take nearly 1100 skiers an hour up the mountain.

The new lift also opened up 10 new runs for skiers and more than 200 acres of pristine tree skiing.
