SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Employees at a cardboard company in Spokane Valley called 911 Monday morning when they arrived to find the building filled with smoke.

Authorities said a production machine inside the Multifab Inc. building on North Sullivan had caught fire but it had gone out by the time they had arrived around 6 a.m. Fire crews used a chemical agent to make sure the fire did not start back up.

Crews stayed on the scene to clear the smoke from the building.

Officials said there was limited fire damage to the building.
