SPOKANE, Wash. -- The St. Patrick’s Day Parade made its way through Downtown Spokane Saturday afternoon.
The parade featured floats marching bands and lots of green. They march started at Boone and ended on Lincoln.
Business owners were thrilled with all the people gathering in the area. The owner of gourmet hotdog restaurant, Wild Dawgs stayed open until 3 a.m. Sunday and expected to sell at least 500 packs of hot dogs Saturday. He also brought in extra employees for the day.
Police are beefing up patrols for the weekend to look for people driving under the influence.
