Visitors walk in the cathedral of Siena during the presentation of "The Gate of Heaven" tour on April 5, 2013. Following lengthy restoration, visitors will be able to admire from April 6 to October 27, the ?heavens? of the Cathedral, a series of rooms that have never been open to the public, where no one has entered for centuries, except for the workmen directed by a succession of great architects who over the centuries left evidence in projects and sketches, at times drawn directly on the walls.
