JAMAICA LIKES THE VW AD THAT SOME SAY IS RACIST

KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) -- Jamaica doesn't agree with those who think a VW commercial that'll air during the Super Bowl is racist. It features a white office worker from Minnesota faking a Jamaican accent. A New York Times columnist told CNN that the ad was like "blackface with voices." But Jamaica's government doesn't understand what the fuss is about. One lawmaker says the commercial "is a perfect illustration" of how Jamaicans are "happy even in challenging situations."
