JAY-Z AND BEYONCE TAKE ANOTHER STEP TOWARD TRADEMARKING THE NAME BLUE IVY

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Beyonce and Jay-Z have taken another step toward trademarking their daughter's name, Blue Ivy Carter. The Washington Post reports that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has posted a notice saying no one has opposed their application. The next step is for Beyonce and Jay-Z to prove that they're using the trademark for things like skin cream, music, key chains, eyeglasses and strollers, among other things. They have three years to do that.
