"JACK REACHER" - DAVID OYELOWO
NEW YORK (AP) -- David Oyelowo (oh-YEH'-loh-woh) was eager to play a detective who's at odds with Tom Cruise in "Jack Reacher" if only because he wasn't the best friend. Oyelowo says he has "an allergic reaction" to playing "the mandatory kind-of best-friend-cop-detective-type." He says you'll never see him playing that role. You can see him playing a colonel in "Lincoln."
