Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada And sometimes divorces can get really ugly. Chad Johnson's wife, Evelyn Lozada, filed for divorce after six weeks of marriage. The divorce filing comes after Johnson was arrested and charged with domestic battery. Lozada accused the football player of head-butting her during an argument. He was released from jail on $2,500 bond. According to TMZ, Lozada filed the papers claiming her marriage is "irretrievably broken." The two wed July 4, 2012 after their courtship was detailed on VH1's "Basketball Wives."
