Matt Flynn arrives in Seattle

After one year of the Tavaris Jackson experiment, the Seattle Seahawks made a big acquisition on March 18 toward a new era at quarterback with the signing of Green Bay Packers backup Matt Flynn. Flynn had seen very little action in his 4-year career while backing up Aaron Rodgers, but he was considered a top free-agent target after an impressive performance in the 2011 season finale against the Detroit Lions. Flynn was 31-of-44 for 480 yards and 6 touchdowns on the way to a 45-41 shootout win. Little did Flynn -- or anyone else for that matter -- know that a surprise was coming a few weeks later in the NFL Draft. Ironically, that surprise would also arrive via the state of Wisconsin.
