WSU receiver claims abuse by coaches

Some old ghosts came to haunt WSU head football coach Mike Leach on Nov. 10 when wide receiver Marquess Wilson announced he was quitting the team and accused his coaches of abuse. Leach had been pushed out at Texas Tech a few years back amidst similar accusations. For WSU’s part, it said Wilson had been suspended. WSU conducted its own investigation and found Wilson’s claims had no merit, and later released documents indicating Wilson had actually recanted his allegations shortly after making them. A Pac-12 investigation was still pending.
