1980 and '84: Ronald Reagan, 9 Electoral Votes in '80, 10 in '84

Ronald Reagan campaigning in Florida. The Gipper won Washington state twice -- once in 1980 and again in 1984. Reagan won a single Electoral Vote from Washington in 1976, thanks to GOP elector Mike Padden, who switched his vote from Ford to Reagan. Padden is now a member of the Washington state Senate.
