LIONEL RICHIE HITS NUMBER ONE
NASHVILLE (AP) -- Lionel Richie's "Tuskegee" album has hit number one on the Billboard album chart. It sold 128,553 copies in the past week, according to Mercury Records. It actually sold more copies its debut week -- nearly 199,000 copies -- but was beat out by Madonna's "MDNA" that week. Richie says he had almost forgotten what it feels like to be number one, but he adds, "Now that I am there, I know exactly what it feels like. It feels great!
