GRANT COUNTY, Wash-- A woman reportedly drowned Sunday near Potholes State Park south of Moses Lake according to law enforcement.
Authorities said the 30-year-old and her friends were floating in inner-tubes on an inlet at about 3 p.m. and hit rapids. The woman was tossed from the inner-tube and never resurfaced according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Rescue teams with the Grant County Sheriff's Office, Grant County Fire Department and Moses Lake Fire Department spent between three and four hours searching for the woman before her body was found. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
