Kellogg man pronounced dead after driving into Wells Fargo bank

KELLOGG, Idaho.—Police said a Kellogg man who drove into a Wells Fargo bank died Saturday.

Police said the driver, 80-year-old Homer H. Hoffman, drove through a stop sign at the intersection of Main Street and McKinley Ave Saturday afternoon and crashed into the bank. He was later pronounced dead according to Idaho State Police.

Responding agencies took Hoffman to Shoshone Medical Center according to police.  Officers said Hoffman was wearing a seat-belt.

Idaho State Police said the investigation was ongoing.
