Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz endorses Hillary Clinton

Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz said in an interview with CNN Wednesday that he is backing Hillary Clinton for president, citing the "vitriolic display of bigotry and hate" on the "other side."

"I think it's obvious Hillary Clinton needs to be the next president," Schultz told Poppy Harlow at the CNNMoney American Opportunity conference in New York. She has the ideal "life experience" and "professional experience" to be president, he added.

Schultz, who calls himself a "life-long Democrat," endorsed Barack Obama for president in 2008 and 2012.
