SPOKANE -- Voters approved a ballot measure to fund the expansion of the Spokane Convention Center and Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.

Spokane County elections officials say with 82,471 ballots counted, the measure is passing with 56% of the vote.

The project includes an expansion of the Convention Center, a Spokane River shoreline project next to the Convention Center, and additional seats for the Arena.
