SPOKANE-- The Occupy Spokane Movement is multiplying each day and even non-protesters are offering support by donating food. But that's leading to a conflict with city codes.

It's now been a little more than two weeks since the Occupy Wall Street Movement took foot in Spokane.

The growth and support presents protestors some challenges.

Donations to the protesters have been so frequent that a food-prep area has been set up nearby.

The occupy protesters welcome the support but the city say the kitchen and tent needs to go.

Officials say city codes prohibit food preparation and cooking of public property without a special events permit

Organizers are working to get one they will need to aquire insurance as well.

Occupy protesters say at times they had so much food donate they've had to take some local charities.

The city has given them until Saturday to move the kitchen or provide the necessary permits.
