Marijuana legalization leads in new polls, trails in Eastern Wash.

SPOKANE -- A new poll of registered voters by the University of Washington finds the majority of people in Eastern Washington do not support a measure that would legalize, regulate and tax recreational marijuana.

I-502 is winning state wide. According to the poll, 51% of Washington voters approve the measure, compared to 41% who oppose it. 8% are undecided.

When pollsters zeroed in on the east side of the state, they found 53% oppose the measure,  41% approve, and 6% are undecided.
