Men arrested for repeatedly stealing beer
04:45 AM PDT on Monday, October 27, 2008
BOISE - Three men are in custody of police after officers say they broke into a series of Boise-area convenience stores.
Several area stores called police saying a group of people were walking in and stealing beer. The crimes had matching suspect descriptions, as well as a similar vehicle and method used to complete the crime.
At about 4:00 p.m., officers say they found what they were looking for: three men matching the description walking into a store at Ustick and Five Mile. The officer then watched the trio get into a vehicle matching the description provided Saturday night.
Officers stopped the car and say they found evidence linking them to the crimes. Police shut down a portion of Five Mile Rd. for a time while they took the men into custody.
