Window washer survives 8 story fall in Seattle

SEATTLE – A window washer fell eight stories from a Downtown Seattle building, but has non-life threatening injuries.

It happened about noon Thursday at a building at 1601 Second Avenue.

The Seattle Fire Department says a rope caught the 34-year-old male window washer at the second story, softening his fall.

He's been transported to Harborview Medical Center.
