BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. -- A bride from Bainbridge is sending out a plea to whoever stole her wedding photos to return them.

Claire Marshall and Mike Messenger were married in Bainbridge on August 11, but several days later the home studio of their wedding photographer was broken into. All of the equipment was stolen, including the memory cards that hold their wedding photos.

The professional wedding photographer, Julianna Rennard of Seattle, tells KING5 that she doesn’t care about the return of her cameras and equipment, only the memory cards that the photos are on. She also says a detective from the Seattle Police Department is on the case.

“Those cards mean nothing to whoever has them, and they mean everything to us,” said Becky Fox Marshall, the mother of the bride. “I didn’t believe it, because of all the disasters you could think of happening at a wedding, this one never occurred to me.”

She says the couple is thankful for all the friends who have sent in pictures they took on their phones, but says it’s just not the same.
