POCATELLO -- The owner of an eastern Idaho rail car repair company says vandals breaking into his business are probably just looking for a scare, but they're causing real damage.

Clark Beck says rumors that the Idaho Rail Shop in Pocatello is haunted are false and the only things going bump in the night are the hoodlums who have broken in four to five times in the past month, leaving behind busted windows and ruined doors.

Beck told the Idaho State Journal he can no longer keep up with the costly repairs. Beck says he's never felt a ghost or any other strange presence while at work and he thinks the vandals are the ones bringing in the negative energy.

Police have responded by stepping up patrols in the area.
