BOISE -- Police say the strong odor of marijuana emanating from a Boise State University dorm landed a Montana man in jail for drug trafficking on Sunday.
Officers report finding more than two pounds of pot in the dorm room after being alerted to the pungent pot smell by campus security.
Police say after questioning those inside the dorm room, they determined the marijuana belonged to 21-year-old Anthony Inguez of West Yellowstone, Montana.
Inguez was arrested on felony marijuana trafficking charges.
He's currently in the Ada County Jail.
Police say four other people in the dorm were cited for frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold. They say a fifth person was also cited for possession of a smaller amount of marijuana.
