TWIN FALLS, Idaho -- A convicted sex offender known as 'Biker Santa' for handing out candy to children from his motorcycle while dressed as Santa Claus has been charged with violating the terms of his probation.
John Thomas Breeding Sr. is scheduled to be arraigned in 5th District Court on Tuesday.
The 63-year-old was accused of soliciting a 9-year-old girl for a sex act at his home in November 2008. The sex abuse charges did not stem from any activity conducted while Breeding was dressed as Santa.
Breeding pleaded guilty in July to felony sex abuse of a child under 16 and was ordered to complete a treatment program and pay a $5,000 penalty.
The Times-News reports that Breeding's probation officer reported last month he had been suspended from his treatment program.
