PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) -- A woman who was riding with Joshua Blake when he killed a Washington State Patrol  trooper has been convicted in Port Orchard of rendering criminal assistance.

A  Kitsap County Superior Court jury returned the guilty verdict Friday against 19-year-old Megan G. Mollet.

The Kitsap Sun reports she also was convicted of making false statements to police looking for Blake after he shot Trooper Tony Radulescu in February near Gorst.

Mollet said she lied because she felt threatened by Blake. He later took his own life.
Mollet faces up to 10 years in prison when she is sentenced.

Two men have pleaded guilty to rendering criminal assistance in the case and three others await trial.
