PORTLAND, Ore. – A contentious divorce hearing for Kaine and Terri Horman was held Friday in a Multnomah County court concerning Terri Horman's visitation rights of her 4-year-old daughter, Kiara.

At least eight attorneys were in the courtroom including Multnomah County District Attorney Rod Underhill as well as lawyers from Portland Public Schools and lawyers for both Kaine and Terri Horman.

During the hearing, Kaine said he didn't want Terri to have visitation rights of her daughter because she is the focus of a criminal investigation into the disappearance of her stepson Kyron Horman.

Terri Horman's lawyers, however, want to question Kaine and a lead investigator in the case. Prosecutors objected and moved to quash those subpoenas, arguing they might jeopardize the on-going investigation into Kyron Horman's disappearance.

"I am dissapointed that we have not found my son yet. I'm glad we have strong law enforcement and community invovlement in his recovery, and I think we will contine to express ourselves based on our beliefs that hellp recover him and bring him home," Kaine Horman said after Friday's hearing.

The hearing also included some new developments in the case, including a claim by Terri Horman's lawyer that the boy's stepmother wasn't the last one to see Kyron the day he disappeared.

Friday’s hearing comes as the latest development in a long series of court proceedings surrounding the Kyron Horman's disappearance.

Kyron Horman has been missing since June 4, 2010. He was last seen at his school, Skyline Elementary, where he was taken to class that day by his stepmother, Terri Horman.

Kyron was 7 years old at the time of his disappearance. Terri Horman was thought to be the last person to see Kyron before he disappeared.
