NEWCASTLE, Wash. – A 5-year-old child was killed Friday after being backed over by the child's father.
The accident happened at about 3 p.m. in the 8200 block of 118th Avenue Southeast.
Video from SkyKING shows a black SUV parked at the entrance to a driveway. A group of people could be seen huddled near the SUV.
This is the second time this week a child has been run over and killed by an SUV in the Puget Sound area. On Monday, a man ran over his fiance's 3-year-old daughter as she rode her tricycle in University Place.
