CALDWELL -- An Amber Alert was issued overnight for three Caldwell children. Caldwell Police say Ubaldo, Mirella, and Esmerelda Guerrero-Lopez were last seen at 4601 Autumn Lane in Caldwell.
Police believe 35-year-old Bertha Guerrero-Castro may have them. They say Guerrero-Castro picked them up for visitation and did not return them.
Guerrero-Castro lost custody of her children to the State of Idaho. She has a residence in Nevada. Officials also say she has a previous history of drug abuse and child abandonment.
Ubaldo Guerrero-Lopez Jr. is a 9-year-old Hispanic boy with black hair, brown eyes, about 4 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs 75 lbs. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater, blue jeans, and black "Adio" tennis shoes.
Mirella Guerrero-Lopez is a 7-year-old Hispanic girl with black hair, brown eyes, about 4 feet tall, and weighs 55 lbs. She was last seen wearing a tan and pink coat, blue jeans, and brown and pink shoes.
Esmerelda Guerrero-Lopez is a 5-year-old Hispanic girl with black hair, brown eyes, about 3 feet and 7 inches tall, and weighs 45 lbs. She was last seen wearing a pink hooded sweater, pink shirt with money on front, blue jeans with flowers on bottom, and shiny black boots..
Bertha Guerrero-Castro has brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be 5 feet and 1 inch tall, and weighs 139 lbs.
Police say they may be traveling in a grey Oldsmobile.
