BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police say six suspects have been arrested in the burglary of a dead man's home in southwestern Idaho, where more than 40 bars of silver were snatched from the residence.
Caldwell Chief of Police Chris Allgood says 43-year-old Robert Wolfley was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of burglary and grand theft. A 21-year-old, Jordan Lopez, was also taken into custody because police say he was harboring a felon.
Allgood said Thursday that authorities have since taken in four more suspects on suspicion of grand theft, including 41-year-Donya Mechan of Caldwell and Nampa residents Steven Dodge, 47, Joseph Dodge, 23, and Justin Thomas, 20.
Detectives have recovered 14 of the silver bars, each weighing 100 ounces, that were stolen on Feb. 13.
