MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. -- A toddler crashed a Jeep into an Oregon home, then ran back to his own home to watch cartoons, police said.
The 3-year-old boy climbed into the Jeep Tuesday evening and knocked it out of gear, according to the Myrtle Creek Police Department.
Witnesses said the Jeep rolled down the street, through an intersection and into the house, causing minor damage.
"The 911 caller witnessed the crash and saw the child run from the Jeep wearing only a diaper," the responding officer wrote in a police report. "The child ran into his home...I was able to make contact, where I found the child lying on the couch watching cartoons as if nothing had ever happened."
The boy told officers his parents weren't home and another relative was sleeping. Police cited the boy's 22-year-old mother for failing to supervise a child.
