An image that may be the final cover art of the Madden NFL 15 video game shows Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, but the other members of the Legion of Boom are nowhere to be seen.
The images appeared on the EA Sports website and Amazon.com, both of which are advertising the game on pre-order for PlayStation and Xbox. It's also the cover photo on the Madden NFL Twitter account.
EA Sports has not responded to requests for confirmation that this will be the final cover art.

After winning the fan vote to be on the cover two weeks ago, Sherman made a public plea to have the other members of Seattle’s secondary placed on the cover as well. Fans followed Sherman’s suggestion to start petitioning EA Sports to make it happen. But, there was speculation that the company would decline because it would mean having to also pay the other members of the LOB for the rights to use their likenesses.
Now, the question is this: Why does the cover show Sherman sticking his arm out with his hand extended like he’s giving a high five?
We’d like to think that he’s showing which Seattle channel he prefers to get his news from.
But, he could just be emulating the response he received from 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree in the closing seconds of the NFC Championship Game.
