CALDWELL -- Five students got sick at a Caldwell school Tuesday morning after one of them shared prescription drugs with four others.
Caldwell Superintendent Tim Rosandick says two students were taken by ambulance to the hospital, while three others were picked up by parents.
Rosandick says this is a very difficult case for both administrators and the families of the students involved.
The incident unfolded at Caldwell Freshman Academy Tuesday. The superintendent is unsure of the students' conditions, exactly what type of drugs were brought in, and exactly where the students got them.
Rosandick says this is a good reminder for all parents to keep their prescriptions locked up.
