TUKWILA, Wash. -- A road rage incident in Tukwila on Tuesday lead to gunfire, with one person suffering a life-threatening injury.
Police say just before 5 p.m. a man had parked on the side of 47th S. when another car came up behind him. That man got out of his car, banged on the window and showed a gun. The driver of the other car pulled his own gun and the two exchanged gunfire.
Both of them drove away from the shooting, and both called 911. Both claimed self-defense.
One person was hit and has a life-threatening wound to his shoulder. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
A neighbor described the incident as more of a neighborhood dispute, that the victim taken to Harborview lives nearby, but police said they can't draw any conclusions.
All of the parties are accounted for, police said.
