BOISE -- We have a fun follow up to a story we told you about at Riverstone International School in Boise several weeks ago.

We showed you John Pedersen's Middle School science classroom and its decor --  several taxidermied animals, including a 7-foot-tall sasquatch.

Pedersen says he uses the creature to teach kids about ecology and scientific possibilities. What's more, he now says Idaho State University Professor Dr. Jeff Meldrum, who is a bigfoot researcher, saw KTVB's story about Pederson's class and was impressed by the classroom.

That's why Meldrum presented Pedersen's class with a cast mold of a sasquatch footprint and some literature that will help with the kids' lessons.
