There have been reports of several landslides around Western Washington following a weekend of wet weather.

A landslide that hit an Amtrak train over the weekend near Everett Sunday morning forced the cancellation of Sounder commuter train service until Tuesday morning. Nobody was hurt.

Rainier Avenue S. in Seattle was closed between 57th Avenue and Cornell Avenue late Sunday night and early Monday morning for a small landslide.

KING 5 Meteorologist Rich Marriott said Sea-Tac Airport set a new rainfall record for Sunday with 1.54 inches. That is more than double the old record of 0.63 inches set back in 1984.
