SEATAC, Wash. –  King County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a suspect that killed one man and seriously injured another early Monday morning.

According to King County Sheriff's spokesperson Sergeant Cindi West, deputies and medics were called to the 3000 block of South 146th Street around 2:50 a.m. by a woman who lives in the home.

One of the victims was able to talk to the 911 dispatcher and deputies about what had happened before he was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

The woman discovered the scene when she arrived home from work. One of the victims was supposed to pick her up. She called a friend for a ride when no one came.

The sheriff's office believes the men may have there at least an hour before the woman arrived home.

During the investigation deputies found a marijuana growing operation with approximately 50 plants inside the home.

Deputies are still investigating what led to the shooting, but say it does not appear to be a random incident.
