MOSES LAKE, Wash.-- The Moses Lake family, whose car was stolen during their daughter's cancer treatment, says their car was returned.
There was little damage to the vehicle, but thieves stole everything inside. They also left behind a used needle and syringe, which the family turned over to police.
Heather Hultberg and her daughter, Lilly, were devastated when theives stole their Honda Pilotspent from the secure garage at the Cancer Care Alliance facility in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood.
The family’s 5-year-old daughter Lilly has been battling cancer since she was 11 weeks old. The family was in Seattle for Lilly’s weekly treatments and to see doctors when the car was stolen.
Now the Hultberg's hope to raise enough money for a home treatment for Lilly, so they can reduce the number of trips to Seattle.
