TWIN FALLS -- A man acting as his own attorney in a sexual battery trial briefly questioned himself as a witness in the case.

The Times-News reports 44-year-old Robert Brackett is charged with having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl two years ago.

Before he called himself as a witness Wednesday, 5th District Court Judge Michael Crabtree told jurors that Brackett would pose a question to himself and then answer it. He asked and identified photos of himself showing a scar on his leg.

Brackett has questioned several times during the trial whether digital photos he allegedly took of the victim had been tampered with.

Brackett has tried several times to ask witnesses about the credibility of his alleged victim. Crabtree has warned him such questions could prejudice the jury against him.
