PORTLAND – Two suspects stole multiple pounds of marijuana from a licensed grow house in Southeast Portland Sunday morning, police said.

At around 9:15 a.m., two suspects approached the home in the 9600 block of Northeast Everett Street with a handgun, victims told police.

One suspect used the gun to hit a man who was sitting on the back porch of the home before the suspects went inside, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.

A woman inside locked herself in a bathroom while the suspects took pounds of processed pot and fled to a waiting car where two other people were waiting, Simpson said.

The suspects in the house were described as white men. The suspects in the car were described as a white man and a white woman.

The car was described as an older blue or silver American-made sedan.

The victim that was hit with the gun was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

None of the victims lives at the home, which authorities said was only used to grow marijuana.

Anyone with information was asked to call police at 503-823-0405.
