RENTON, Wash - A deadly crash following a police chase closed part of Martin Luther King Junior Way in Renton Saturday morning.
Early Saturday King County Sheriff's Deputies were chasing the suspect on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Junior Way when the driver careened off the road and hit several trees after rolling about 30 feed down a ravine. The driver died at the scene.
A King County Sheriff's Deputy was injured during the chase after the driver hit the deputy's patrol car. The deputy was taken to an area hospital with back pain.
