PORTLAND -- Pro football player and Grant High School graduate Ndamukong Suh settled a civil lawsuit related to a crash in downtown Portland in December, 2011.
A passenger in Suh's car at the time of the crash filed the lawsuit in July 2012, claiming he lied to the police about her injuries and offered her $700 to remain silent.

The plaintiff accused Suh of negligence, recklessness and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She sued for more than $1 million in damages.
The law firm of Lehner & Rodrigues confirmed Thursday that the case had been settled, but did not comment on the details or the final amount of the settlement.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the plaintiff received $130,000, which was the amount Suh offered during mediation before the complaint was filed. She told the newspaper that after legal fees she took home about $85,000.
Suh was not cited by police at the scene of the crash.
