Body found floating in Johnson Creek in SE Portland

PORTLAND – Officers found a body floating in Johnson Creek just west of Southeast 92nd Avenue in Portland Saturday afternoon, police said.

Just before 1 p.m., police found the body that appears to be an adult, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.

Police cordoned off the area and were waiting for homicide and forensic detectives to start their investigation, Simpson said.
