ROSEBURG, Oregon - Oregon State Police troopers want help to find the person who threw a rock from an Interstate 5 overpass, injuring a California woman and causing her to lose control of her car.
The rock went through the driver's side windshield, hitting 20-year-old Molly Grabill in the face Monday night at the the Isadore Road overpass. The rock was larger than a baseball, according to OSP.
A passenger grabbed the steering wheel, but lost control and the car rolled on the freeway.
Grabill, a University of Oregon student, was taken to a Springfield hospital for treatment of facial injuries and was in good condition Tuesday. The passenger was treated and released for minor injuries.
