Pierce County sheriff's deputies have arrested a 17-year-old girl in the slaying of a 51-year-old Lakewood man.
A sheriff's spokesman said deputies have also arrested a 30-year-old man and more arrests and warrants were expected this weekend.
The Tacoma News Tribune reports Dean Barker had been bound and beaten before his body was found at a vacant home for sale in Graham on September 8. Authorities believe suspect Barker was kidnapped and robbed before he was killed.
According to the Tribune, Pierce County prosecutors have until Tuesday to decide what charges to file against the 17-year-old, who is being held on $2 million bail. She’s being prosecuted as an adult.
